Det första rummet är tomt förutom ett vattenfyllt akvarium som är monterat i taket. Vattenytan sätts i rörelse av en liten vågmaskin, pgr. av att den är belyst ovanifrån ser man vattnets rörelse reflekteras i rummet. I ett angränsande rum visas en film "Seafarer"(20min), den inleds med att en liten ubåt är under nedstigning, långsamt sjunker den ner till något okänt. Väl nere söks botten av, också det en mycket långsam färd. En dialog mellan de två besättningsmännen löper genom filmen där deras frågor om vad som kan finnas där blandas med djupangivelser och rapporter om båtens kondition. En katastrof antyds och kameran flyter upp och registrerar samtidigt sin resa upp till ytan igen, mot ljuset.

The first room is empty apart from a water filled aquarium that is mounted in the ceiling. The water surface is set in motion by a small wave machine. It is illuminated from above so the waves is reflected in the room. In an adjoining room the film “Seafarer”(20 min) is projected. It is initiated with a small submarine that is during descending, it goes down slowly to something unknown. When the reach the bottom and begin to scan it, also a very slow journey. A dialogue between the two crew members runs through the film where their questions about what that can be down here, intermixed with depth specifications and reports about the ship's condition. A disaster is indicated and the camera floats up and registers the travel up to the surface again, towards the light.
